Green Dot Ballers looked to get back into the winning column after two losses in a row. The Young Savages were not cooperating early, with a scoring ELEVEN three pointers in the first half on their way to a 43-34 lead. The Ballers committed to defense at halftime and sprinted to a 15-0 run in the first three minutes of the second half. After a timeout, one more basket had the run at 17 and the score flipped to 49-43 Ballers. Another 22-9 run took final control of the game and some clutch free throws in the last minute provided the Ballers with a new franchise record for points in an 88-73 victory.

Rolling to a record - On a night where the Young Savages drained 16 three pointers, the Green Dot Ballers posted a 56 point second half on their way to a franchise record 88 point performance. The deal was sealed when Tony Wroblicky hit two free throws to hit the new high point.
Winning ways - With the win the Ballers registered their twelfth straight winning season. They have played 12 seasons in the winter league rec division and have been 6-4 or better each season and never missed the playoffs.
Everyone eats - On a night where the shots were falling and the defense was fleeting, it made sense that Ballers were going to get a crack at filling it up. All seven Ballers finished with multiple baskets, with four in double figures. Charlie Jones and Chris Larson combined for 13 assists on the night.

Tony Wroblicky - The man in the middle was on fire this week. 23 points and a bunch of rebounds. No two points were as important as the final two free throws that set the new Ballers team scoring record!!
