Still no Joy! GDB escapes at the buzzer for another title!

After the hard fought game in 2016 the Joy Boys had returned the favor to the Ballers in the Semifinals in 2017 Winter league. A Fall edition of basketball provided the forum for an all-time classic. The Ballers entered as the #3 seed against the undefeated (7-0) top seeded Joy Boys. Once again, the teams battled through 40 minutes of game time. The Joy Boys made free throws with 5 seconds to take the lead by 3. When the Ballers advanced the ball to half court with just one second left, it appeared to be a Joy Boys win. But a foul on a three point attempt gave Colt Street the chance to tie the game with no time left. He made the three clutch free throws on the way to a game high 20 points and game MVP honors in the overtime win.

Down 47-44 with 1.0 second left, Colt Street is fouled at the buzzer on a three point attempt. He would sink all three FTs with no time left and the Ballers would go on to win in OT.
