Game Summary
Green Dot could not find the range in the first half going 3-19 on a bevy of really good looks. Young Savages held a 21-12 lead, but Green Dot fought their way back into it and trailed 30-27 at halftime after a buzzer beating three by the Savages. The second half was even until Mike Reamy went on a three point binge in the midst of an 19-7 run that secured control for the Ballers on their way to a 71-55 victory

Headlines
A thing of beauty is a joy forever (my man Keats said that) - After getting all the shots they wanted (but making next to none of them, the Ballers stuck to the plan and posted a second half Picasso. 44 points, 6 for 10 from three, 13 assists for 17 baskets. A beautiful display of offensive firepower led to the victory.
Mike THREEE-my - Reamy was the key to turning around the Green Dot offense. After an 0-5 first half from three and an initial miss in the second half, the City of Alexandria's all time three point king caught fire with 4 straight three pointers that surged the Ballers into a lead they would not relinquish. When the barrage started it was 36-30, by the time the flames receded it was 48-36.
Welcome to the crew - Charles "DJ" DeJohnette was signed to a free agent contract earlier in the week and quickly made an impression on his new teammates. De johnette brings another ballhandler and defender who also scored his first basket with a 3 pointer in the second half.
MVP
Charlie Jones - The Do-it-all forward was a presence everywhere on the court. Fastbreaks, posting up at the nail, on the boards and in defense, Jones was a man on a mission. He led the Green Dot Crew with a career high 17 points, while missing just one shot on the night.
The new routine...Light the Beam!!!
