Game Summary
Another close game and the Ballers found a way to grab the win. A stifling defense combined with a variety of scorers and 10 made free throws in the second half sent the Ballers to a 53-45 victory in the next to last game of the regular season.

Headlines
Defense leads the way - Another tight contest had the Ballers trailing by 2 at the half, but a stifling defense that created turnovers and controlled the boards, held the Hustle to just 19 points in the second half.
Somebody knock the lid off! - Green Dot has struggled with its outside shooting this session, especially with the longer three point line at Chick Armstrong Rec Center. The Ballers were feeling it in the first half on their way to 11 straight misses from deep to start the game. However a rainbow three from newcomer Charlie Jones seemed to loosen things up. The Ballers hit 3 out of 4 the rest of the way.
Balanced attack - While Tony Wroblicky led all scorers with 18 points, 5 other ballers scored 5 or more. It was a classic "everyone is a threat" performance from the Green Dot squad as they kept their playoff hopes alive.
MVP
Tony Wroblicky - The Ballers pivot man was dominating in the paint. With a combination of postups, putbacks and drives the Hustle didn't really have an answer for Wroblicky. Any time the Ballers needed a pick me up their center was their to give them a boost.

DC Warriors (Joy Boys) (2-3) 9:00pm - It always comes down to this rivalry. The Ballers and the Boys will tip off, potentially with the last playoff spot on the line, depending on the outcome of the game just before this one. if the Hustle upsets Straight Cash, then the winner of this one is the fourth seed.
