Game Summary
AHRA is one of two new teams in the league this season. They featured a roster with some talent but way too many players. The Green Dot Ballers welcomed the newcomers the the City Of Alexandria League with one of the finest displays of team basketball that you will see in a dominant first half. The Ballers shared the rock and ran up video game numbers and never looked back on the way to a 76-49 victory that wasn't even that close.

Headlines
Helping hands - The Green Dot Ballers were in fine form with ball movement and scoring assisting on 27 of 30 field goals!! Captain Chris Larson led the way with nine assists, only missing double figures when the Ballers went cold from 3 in the second half (3 for 20 - yikes).
You get a basket, you get a basket - On a night where sharing the ball was contagious, every baller had at least two scores and 4 reached double figures, led by Mike Reamy's 5 first half three pointers. The first half ended with GDB registering 43 points and an insurmountable 20 point lead.
Block-fiesta - Ballers pre-eminent big man Tony Wroblicky set the single game franchise record for blocks with 8 denials. The newcomers did not seem to get the memo in the first half and continued to try their luck in the paint, but Wroblicky was like a bouncer at the trendiest nightclub around refusing entry into the club.
MVP
Ryan Demagistris - The long time x-factor for the Ballers was at it again. A balky back was threatening to prevent him from taking the court, but when pregame warmup resulted in a green light to play, Dmag immediately set the tone scoring seven of the first 10 points in the game providing a lead that would never be threatened.
The new routine...Light the Beam!!!
