The Green Dot Ballers continued their hot streak in convincing fashion with a 67-51 win over #2 seed Self Check. The hottest team in the league has now won 8 of their last nine games since falling into a 1-2 hole after 3 weeks of play. The win puts the Ballers into the Winter Finals for the fifth time in the last seven years and also gives them the chance to win back to back titles for the first time in franchise history.

Ed Reddick (#4) skies for the putback. Reddick made 10 of his 11 shots on his way to a game high 24 points.

The Ballers continued their strong play from the previous night's win over ASC. Self-Check had no answers for the waves of offense the Ballers sent their way. Point guard Chris Larson set the tone early with a basket off the opening tip and 4 first half assists. The balanced offense featured 10 helpers on the 15 first half baskets and 3 different players scored nine or more points, with Ed Reddick setting the pace with 10 points. All of that offense had the Ballers up 34-22.

Ed Reddick (top of key) swishes the 3 pointer home to put the Ballers up 19 midway through the second half.

The second half featured more of the same for Self Check as they never really challenged the Ballers. Ed Reddick led the way with a perfect half including 5-5 from the field, 3-3 from the line and hit his only 3-point attempt. For the second game in a row, every player on GDB registered a point.

The Ballers have worked themselves back into the championship game with a chance to defend their title. In 2014 the Ballers had a similar chance to defend, but came up short in the Final losing a low scoring game to the Warriors 42-34.
