Headlines
First Half Clinic - The Green Dot Crew came out on fire with six different scorers led by 14 first half points by Tony Wroblicky. The 14 points were highlighted by back to back dunks from TW. The defense was loud, active and held the three point slinging Joy Boys to just one first half three pointer.
Second half swing - The Joy Boys were floundering and could not find a way to make up any ground. With 7:33 left they were down 54-38 and had just been issued a tech for arguing with the refs and subsequently gave up a free throw and wide open layup. That somehow sparked them to go on a 15-0 run hitting 4 threes and a traditional three point play.
Clutch 3s from a clutch Baller - With the momentum gone and the clock running very slowly, the Ballers turned to their resident 3 point sniper and boy did he deliver. Mike Reamy hit a three with two and a half minutes to play to stop the run and then hit the closing shot with one minute left to give the Ballers the win.
MVP
Tony Wroblicky - Wroblicky set the tone again this week dominating the paint with drives rebounds and a pair of dunks. His scoring, rebounding and defense have become a key part of the Ballers winning streak headed into the playoffs.
