Headlines
Avalanche of second half points - Green Dot was down 84-60 with just over 4 minutes left. Green Dot stalwarts Will Harris III and Chris Larson entered the game and led a pressing and scoring rally that resulted in a 22-5 run. The Ballers actually had the ball down 8 with a good look at a three that would have made the game very interesting. It is the first time the Ballers have scored more than 75 points and lost. But the 55 points in the second half was one of the all time best performances. The 82 points tied for the second most in franchise history.
Game day contract proves its worth - With a shorthanded squad in the offing, it was time to dig into the waiver wire. Asst GM Mike Reamy knows how to pick em! His late signing came up big with 4 three pointers and 14 points. A big boost to squad that needed it!
Cookies x 2 !! - All time GDB steals leader Chris Larson was able to extend his record in style picking the pockets of both DB point guards. The first led to a Ryan Demagistris 3 pointer and the second was part of the big rally in the second half, that led to another basket.
MVP
Tony Wroblicky - The Baller pivot man was a presence on both ends of the court and even threw in a 3 pointer for good measure.
