Game Summary
In a game with major playoff implications, the Green Dot Ballers and Straight Cash battled in a closely contested match. Straight Cash began the game with just four players and it seemed to throw the Ballers off kilter. SC ultimately fielded enough players and they jumped out to an 11 point halftime lead. Midway through the second half the lead ballooned to 19. The Ballers then switched to man and launched a 23-8 run to cut the lead to 4 at 59-55. With less than a minute left the Ballers found themselves down 3 with open looks from distance that ultimately didn't fall. One last chance was found with a putback attempt by Chris Larson by a clear foul was not called on the play and free throws secured the win for Straight Cash 67-63.
Headlines
Frontcourt leads the way - With leading scorer Cam Wade missing this one, it was up to the frontcourt to carry the load and boy did they. Harris, Jones and Wroblicky combined for 47 points and fueled the comeback that fell just short
Finding his groove - DJ Dejohnette, in his first season, continues to carve out a role for GDB off the bench. DJ provided great floor leadership, in addition to his five points and two assists.
Brick house - Any type of average shooting performance from three get the ballers a win, but 19% from three during a 5-26 shooting slump was too much to overcome. Even with all those bricks, just one three cashed in the last two minutes could have flipped the game. Let's save them for the playoffs!!! :-)

Will Harris - Ballers big man has missed his share of games this season but he was doing work tonight with a team high 18 points.
